Notification Rules
In this chapter we will explore the topic of Notification Rules. These rules allow you to track changes in a document and receive notifications about important events. This is a valuable tool for staying informed about updates and managing collaborative work effectively.
Creating Notification Rules
- Go to the menu Tools → Notification settings → Edit notifications;
- Under Notify me at, select the criteria for when you want to receive notifications:
- Any changes are made;
- A user submits a form;
- Under Notify me with…, choose how to receive notifications:
- Email - daily digest (a summary sent via email daily);
- Email - right away (immediate email notifications).
Comment Notifications
- Go to Tools → Notification settings;
- Under Comment notifications, configure alerts for new comments in the document;
- This is particularly useful for tracking suggestions and discussions during collaborative work.
