Creating Drawings

Adding a Drawing

  • Go to the Insert menu → Drawing;
  • The Drawing window will open, where you can create drawings, diagrams, or add text;
  • Use the available tools to draw shapes, arrows, lines, or text;
  • When finished, click Save and Close to insert the drawing into the spreadsheet.

Editing a Drawing

Editing a drawing allows you to change its size, shape, or content after it has been inserted.

  • Double-click the drawing;
  • Make changes and click Save and Close again.

Imagine you are maintaining a project plan spreadsheet and want to mark key milestones using arrows and annotations. Using the Drawing tool, you can add an arrow pointing to an important deadline and include a text note to explain what needs to be done by that date.
