Version History

  • To access the version history, click on the Figma icon → File → Show Version History. Then the history panel will appear;
  • Note that with free accounts, you get unlimited version history for 30 days (older versions may not be accessible afterward). Whereas subscription plans get you unlimited version history for as long as the subscription is active;
  • Autosave versions include date and timestamp. But you can manually save versions by clicking the plus icon + , adding a title and description if desired;
  • You can filter the versions by all work (including team contributions or only you);
  • The option to hide autosaved versions is available for a cleaner view;

Right-Click commands include:

  • Edit version info: add or modify title/description;
  • Restore version: bring it to the top and make it active;
  • Duplicate version: create a standalone copy of a specific version;
  • Delete version info: remove titles/descriptions;
  • Copy link: share the version with others.
