Showcasing Your Work
When you're finished with your project, showcasing it online is an important next step, and Behance is a great platform to do that. Start by introducing your app with a brief summary of what it does and who it's for. Then, walk through your design process, showing key stages like research, prototyping, UI design, and testing. Don't forget to include the user flow or journey, which explains how users navigate through your app.
Share your wireframes creatively, and give a sneak peek into your design system by showing the colors, buttons, typography, icons, and navigation elements you've used. Once that's done, present the final UI design with mockups (like iPhone frames) to showcase how the app looks on different screens, highlighting key pages like login, search, and profile. Some designers also add a link to their prototype for others to interact with, but that's up to you.
Ultimately, a great project showcase isn't just about the end product; it's about telling the story of how you got there, balancing creativity with practicality, and making sure your designs are functional for both users and developers.
That's all for now. Once again, thank you for taking the course. Remember to keep things simple and creative but also practical. A design that's fun and easy to use makes everyone happy.
Keep Creatin'!
