Testing the App

Once you've finished prototyping, animating, and adding all the fun stuff, it's time to test it out on your phone.

  • Open the Figma app, find your file, and head to your main design page;
  • Tap View Prototype to test it as if it's a real app. Check buttons, animations, and scrolling. Pretend you're a user, click around and make sure everything works smoothly.

One cool thing about Figma is real-time mirroring. Any changes you make on your desktop (like resizing or moving stuff) instantly show up on your phone or on the browser. This is perfect for showing live updates to clients or teammates and getting feedback on the spot.

Quick tips for finalizing designs in Figma

1. Test with fresh eyes

Share the prototype with friends or coworkers and ask them to navigate it like a user. Watch where they get stuck (if they do!);

2. Help out developers

Add notes for any animations or tricky bits that developers might need to understand;

3. Export like a pro

Export images or icons in the right format (SVG or PNG for most cases), and keep files organized so everyone can find what they need;

4. Share smarter

Send stakeholders or clients a prototype link with comments enabled. This makes it super easy for them to leave feedback directly on the design.

Everything was clear?

How can we improve it?

Thanks for your feedback!
