Notification Rules

In this chapter we will explore the topic of Notification Rules. These rules allow you to track changes in a document and receive notifications about important events. This is a valuable tool for staying informed about updates and managing collaborative work effectively.

Creating Notification Rules

  • Go to the menu ToolsNotification settingsEdit notifications;
  • Under Notify me at, select the criteria for when you want to receive notifications:
    • Any changes are made;
    • A user submits a form;
  • Under Notify me with…, choose how to receive notifications:
    • Email - daily digest (a summary sent via email daily);
    • Email - right away (immediate email notifications).

Comment Notifications

  • Go to ToolsNotification settings;
  • Under Comment notifications, configure alerts for new comments in the document;
    • This is particularly useful for tracking suggestions and discussions during collaborative work.
