Download Unity

First, we go to the Unity website at www.unity.com.

Next, we go to "Plans and Pricing"; it’s located at the top left. You can choose the plan you want to develop with, but for our course, you can just choose Unity Personal.

Click "Download Now."

If you are on a Mac, click on the Mac logo; if not, simply click "Download for Windows." After that, a Unity Hub setup will start to download. Wait for it to finish and then launch it. Click on "I agree."

Choose your destination folder and proceed with the installation.

After finishing, the Unity Hub will open. Go to "Installs" and click on "Install Editor."

This window will pop up for you.

I recommend downloading a version with LTS (Long Term Support) as it will be more stable.

You will have modules to download. For now, just add "Windows Build Support." You can come back anytime and add the others. Also, if you don’t have Visual Studio downloaded, select it.

For the Visual Studio installer, select "Game Development with Unity" and unselect "Unity Hub" on the right since we already downloaded it.

After finishing, go to this link to sign in with your account or create an account if you don’t have one: https://id.unity.com.

After connecting your Unity account, simply go to "Manage License."

Click on "Add License," then click on "Get a Free Personal License."

Click on agree and for the next tutorial we will create our first project.

Everything was clear?

How can we improve it?

Thanks for your feedback!
