Grouping and Ungrouping Worksheets
In this chapter, we take worksheet management to the next level by learning how to group and ungroup worksheets.
Grouping worksheets allows you to make changes to multiple sheets simultaneously, saving you a ton of time.
This technique is invaluable when dealing with large datasets or when you need consistency across your workbooks.
Key Points
- Group adjacent sheets by clicking the first tab, holding
Shift
, and clicking the last tab; - Group non-adjacent sheets by holding
Ctrl
and clicking each tab; - Right-click any grouped worksheet tab and select Ungroup Sheets;
- Make edits to grouped sheets to apply changes across all selected sheets.
