Measure Filters
In Tableau, Measure Filters allow you to control the display of data based on numeric values, such as totals, averages, or counts. They provide flexibility in customizing visualizations by focusing on specific numeric criteria.
Key Features of Measure Filters
- Filter by value: display data that matches a specific numeric criterion;
- Filter by range: select a range of numeric values to include in the visualization;
- Custom filter conditions: create complex filters based on expressions or logic for granular control.
Combining Filters
Measure filters can also be combined with other types of filters, such as dimension filters, to narrow down data further. For example, you can simultaneously filter by a range of profits and specific geographic regions to refine your analysis.
