What is Regularization?

Dropout

Batch Normalization

  • Overview: It normalizes the output of a previous activation layer by subtracting the batch mean and dividing by the batch standard deviation. Although not a regularization method in the strict sense, this technique functions similarly by diminishing overfitting, akin to the effects typically achieved through regularization.
