Exploring Modules

Modules are a core part of PowerShell that help you organize and extend its capabilities. A module is a package containing related cmdlets, functions, variables, and other resources. Using modules allows you to reuse code, share functionality, and keep your scripts organized. PowerShell comes with several built-in modules, and you can import additional ones as needed to gain access to new features.

Sometimes you need functionality that is not available by default in PowerShell. You can search for additional modules online using the Find-Module cmdlet, which looks in repositories such as the PowerShell Gallery. Once you find a module you want, you can install it with the Install-Module cmdlet. After installation, you can load the module using Import-Module and start using its cmdlets right away. This makes PowerShell highly flexible and easy to customize for your own needs.
