You are given a data frame math_scores containing exam scores for a group of students. Your task is to calculate and interpret key summary statistics for these scores.
- Calculate the mean (average) and assign it to
mean_math. - Calculate the median (middle value) and assign it to
median_math. - Calculate the mode (most frequent value) and assign it to
mode_math. - Find the minimum score and assign it to
min_math. - Find the maximum score and assign it to
max_math. - Calculate the standard deviation and assign it to
sd_math.
Use R functions to compute each statistic and assign the result to the specified variable. This will help you explore the central tendency and spread of the data. If there is no repeated value, select the smallest value when finding the mode.
