Connecting Social Media Accounts

Before you can start scheduling content and tracking engagement, you need to connect your social media accounts to Hootsuite. Let's go through the process step by step.

Connecting Your Social Media Accounts

  1. Log in to Hootsuite and click your profile icon at the bottom left;
  2. Go to Social Accounts and Teams, select your organization, and click Social Networks;
  3. Choose Add a Social Network, select the platform, and log in;
  4. Grant permissions to ensure Hootsuite can access and manage your social profiles.

Organizing Your Accounts

  • Rename accounts for easier identification;
  • Set default accounts for posting, especially if managing multiple pages;
  • Group accounts into tabs based on platform or purpose.
