Creating a new project
- Click New project;
- Enter a project name;
- Select a save location;
- It is recommended to create a dedicated folder, as Adobe Premiere Pro automatically generates temporary files in the same location;
- Choose Skip import mode and click Create.
Main interface panels
- Project panel – organizes and stores media assets and sequences;
- Timeline panel – manages video, audio, and effects for editing;
- Program panel – previews the edited sequence;
- Effect controls panel – adjusts applied effects and keyframes;
- Effects panel – contains a library of video and audio effects and transitions;
- Tools panel – provides essential editing tools (selection, razor, pan, etc.);
- Audio track mixer panel – controls and adjusts audio levels and effects. If any panel is missing, you can enable it via the Window tab in the top menu.
Customizing the interface
- Panels can be moved and resized by dragging their borders or titles;
- Multiple panels can be docked in a single window. This flexibility allows you to arrange the interface to suit your workflow.
