Swipe to show menu

It will be vital for you, as you progress with your expertise in Excel, to be able to understand your mistakes and to understand how to fix them. Errors in formulas or cell references are very common. For that reason, you should be able to recognize the different error types presented in the previous chapter to debug your workbook. With that being said, we have finally reached the end of this chapter. In order to access the following section, we have set up an exercise. Please solve the exercises in the following workbook and come back with your answer 🙂 .

Note

When you have created a formula for a single cell, select it and click the bottom right corner of the cell. Drag and drop over all the cells in a column. This will propagate the formula you have written to all the cells. Cell references will be automatically updated.

Note

For string concatenation, use CONCAT() function. For example: =CONCAT(D2," ",E2).
