Challenge: Analyzing Profit Changes Between 2016 and 2017
Your task is to create a bullet graph to compare the Profit from 2016 and 2017 across different categories.
- Drag the "Sub-Category" field to the Rows Shelf.
- Drag the "2017s Profit" field (created in the previous chapter) to the Columns Shelf.
- Drag the "2016s Profit" field to the Marks area and place it under "Detail".
- Add a Reference Line:
- Set the Value to "2016s Profit";
- Set the Aggregation to "Total, Per Cell".
- Customize the Reference Line by adjusting the color and transparency to make it more visible.
- Review the chart to identify categories with negative "2017s Profit" but positive "2016s Profit".
