Organizing Contacts with Lists in HubSpot

Once you've added contacts, the next step is organizing them effectively. HubSpot's Lists feature allows you to segment your audience based on properties, behaviors, and interactions. This makes marketing campaigns and sales follow-ups more targeted and efficient.

Creating and Managing Lists

  1. Navigating to the Lists section:
    • Go to Contacts > Lists;
    • Click Create List in the top-right corner.
  2. Choosing between Active and Static Lists:
    • Active Lists update automatically based on conditions (e.g., "All contacts who opened an email");
    • Static Lists are fixed and do not update over time.
  3. Adding Filters to a List:
    • Select Filters and set conditions (e.g., "Contacts from California");
    • You can combine multiple filters for precise targeting.
  4. Saving and using Lists:
    • Click Save to store the list;
    • Use lists for email campaigns, workflows, and reports.
