Start a new Project

To start a new project with Next.js, navigate to the folder where you want to keep your project and run the following command in your terminal:

This command will set up a Next.js application for you using create-next-app, a Command Line Interface (CLI) tool. By using the --example flag along with the template example for this course, you will have access to a pre-built template that you can use as the foundation of your project.

Run the Development Server

To view the app locally, run the development server using the command provided below:

You can view the homepage by opening the following URL http://localhost:3000/ in your browser. It should appear like this:
