Extending Clips & Blending First and Last Frames

Two features help you go beyond a single short clip:

Note
Definition

Extend — continues a generated clip for a few more seconds, keeping the same style and motion, instead of starting a new prompt from scratch.

First and last frame — a feature where you give Veo a starting image and an ending image, and it generates a smooth transition between them, complete with audio.

Example use case: Supply a photo of a closed door as the first frame and the same room with the door open as the last frame — Veo generates the door opening.

Note
Note

Chain a few "Extend" clips together in the Flow timeline instead of writing one long prompt — shorter, focused prompts render more reliably than one prompt trying to cover 20+ seconds of action.
